Leaving West pokot
To think that I almost refused to go there! In my defense, the portrayal of this part of the country has always been negative. We constantly see pictures of extremities; insecurity and a deserted people.
It was quite a surprise to find that a Kapenguria though small is a well organized town with all the essentials of urban living. And the food was much fresher and the restaurants very clean.
The people still have the untouched innocence that only cultural rural living brings. Everyone was friendly and constantly smiling and greeting persons on the streets! That, you do not find in the city. It reminds that not all that courtesy means.
The eagerness of the people to have their voices heard both moved and saddened me.In some places they have never had an outsider sit with them, listen and talk. It was humbling to find people who only wanted to speak out and be recognized.
We jokingly call it the forgotten lands but you get on the ground and you realize that is no joke. These are forgotten people, the forgotten lives. for such a large area, the few number of schools and hospitals is a big joke. To have one dispensary serve a place as big as the city of Nairobi is not only ridiculous but also extremely irresponsible of any Government.
Finding a girl by the roadside heading walking to school, we gave her a ride. It took almost an hour to reach that school!!! This girl was meant to walk as vehicles on that road are very few; passenger vehicles are in fact non-existent!
How can one promote education if school are made inaccessible. In a community where girls are hardly educated it is shocking to see the lack of support towards the girls that do get a chance to go to school. In fact Government does not build these scarce schools; they are all (almost) courtesy of the various missions and donors!
These are people who have to deal with a harsh nomadic lifestyle which is in itself unsustainable but they have even fewer alternatives. They have no basic infrastructure; roads, schools, hospitals etc. They are hardly educated hence unaware of the dangers of some of their practices like female genital mutilation.
They can not seek a better life when they do not know there is another way.
They have been abandoned by the very government that is supposed to help them and serve them. They are people who survive because of sheer strength, belief and hold on culture.
There is so much that West Pokot has to offer. Preservation of a cultural way of life and Amazing landscape that should draw a big tourist crowd, Lands that could become the source of Kenya's crops, warriors who are natural archers who could use their talents to bring us Olympic glory, the sheer desire to learn that is unmatched and much more.
You learn t live again. You learn to smile even when you have nothing left. You learn to remember, remember to live!
I HEART WEST POKOT!

Constitution and leaders
We as a nation have been reborn or so the rhetoric goes. For years people of this country have yearned for a new constitution, one they felt would heal all the wounds and correct all the injustices. Flawed thinking, I believe.
We are at the stage where we have the document we wanted but unsure of how to make it work. This is understandable because implementation is always the elephant. If one expects magical change of the way things are done then that person is setting himself up for disappointment.
The new constitution is not going to heal wounds and correct injustices, as a document. The constitution empowers one to aspire for a better country, a better system. It gives the rights, the powers and it is up to you to take hold of them and seek for justice.
As a kenyan you have the right to demand more from your leaders, your fellow country men, legal systems. But, if we continue to think in the same old way, influenced by the same old things like tribalism, greed, a new constitution will make no difference.
We have just gone through a couple of by - elections and you keep hearing the same thing, money was poured! Two things have to change, politicians have to stop being sore losers because that is the root of chaos and secondly, the citizens need to stop being greedy and short-sighted. If you sell your vote for 5000 bob and the guy you vote for stays in parliament for five years doing absolutely nothing other than building himself up, you are the bigger fool, you have been unjust to yourself and you deserve the wounds.
We have a chance to change how we think and how we act. We have a chance to take care of ourselves and our future and it starts with eliminating ignorance, tribalism and greediness and voting on the basis of need for us and the community. We need to vote for a person who is willing to work for his or her pay. Work everyday to improve the people's lives.
If someone has been in Parliament for more than five years and you still have no roads, that person has got to go!
If you have never been able to get audience with your MP even after continuance trying but you definitely find him buying changa'a when it is Kura time, that person has got to go.
The citizen has the power to fire and hire. Use it to safeguard your future!

Lessons I learnt from Randy Pausch’s Last Lecture
In life we hardly get to change the cards we are dealt but we can always change how we play that hand. Our tears and pity do not change the situation even though that depends on the situation (for me at least. We are left with only one choice to play a really great hand, one we will be proud of even if we loose.
That is what I learned from the last lecture. I had put up the full lecture but my friend at http://afkaary-nabz@blogspot.com pointed out that it was too long even she could not read the whole thing. So, I read it myself again and decided that I am going to share with you what i learned.
The topic was on achieving your childhood dreams, a big issue for me. We all have that list of the things we wanted to achieve and get when we were kids. we hope that one day we get to strike a few things off the list.
To start off on a personal, religion is big for me. I have always hoped that I would make all my decisions based on the christian teaching i got as a kid. I struggle with this everyday and hopefully, I will die learn to love unconditionally, forgive unconditionally and always belief in God and the goodness of every person I meet.
That said and done, achieving your childhood dream.
Randy Pausch talks about achieving his childhood dreams. How he did it is a lesson for how to live your life. As someone who is looking for a job that will give me the opportunity make my dream profession a reality, the lessons gathered from the lecture is as follows:
1. You are more welcome to the table, if you have something to offer. That is one of the things resume experts will tell you; always have something that an employer would need. But, even if you have something to offer you still have to remember the hardwork and the not giving up.
2. Remember the fundamentals. If you want to successful in whatever field, you have to get the basics spot on or whatever extra you offer will be of no use. In the law profession, you are told that a sharp tongue will save you in court but if you do not have the law down, the sharp tongue will be useless.
Sometimes to make sure we get these fundamentals, teachers or whoever will be extra hard on you. that is a sign that someone thinks you have a chance at what you want. If someone does not bother when you make a mistake, they have given up on you. Your critics are your ones telling you they still love you and care.
Finally, the power of enthusiasm to learn is very important. if you want it badly enough, you will endure the rough.we need Teamwork, sportsmanship, perseverance to survive.
3. There will always be setbacks in our path, brick walls he called them. These are not meant to keep us from what we want but rather they are an opportunity to show how badly we want that thing.
How many times have I had, We do not have space available at this time but we will get in touch with you as soon as something comes up. I have had it so many times that I am not so sure I can bear it any more. But I want to be in the profession I am so badly that I refuse to let Brick walls keep me away.
4. Take an opportunity to enable the childhood dreams of others. This one is hard because I am thinking, I have not achieved mine then how. I decided this means that if you are capable of helping out at any point in your life and in whatever way do it. Remember that people are amazing when you show a little faith in them.
5. Have your mentors, parents, friends etc to help you, to look up to and to ground you.
6. Never loose the childlike wonder. I love this one because I believe that is what decide whether we remain happy people or whether we let the sadness in the world seep into our hearts. Sometimes the right view is that of a child and we are driven towards that childlike reality. A really good thing.
7. Keep what is valuable and cherished. I have kept almost all the cards i have ever received. My mother hardly throws anything, she will give it away but never throws. I love the things that i keep even when they look useless because it is the only way I can hold on to my memories. Don't hold on to the past but reminders of lessons learnt, people we have met and places seen are not so bad.
8. Loyalty is a two way street. I have nothing more to add on this one. Be a loyal friend, brother, sister and whoever else you are. That is how character is built. Be truthful and earnest and people will help you. Karma!
9. Never give up. I have not achieved what i wanted to by this time but i know I can not give up even when I feel hopeless. I believe that hope fuels the heart which
feeds the spirit and we stay alive.
10. Get feedback, cherish it and use it. Do not give excuses for what you have failed in but rather listen to advice, admit your mistake and do better next time. This is really hard but I am trying to less argumentative and listen.
11. Show gratitude. Be thankful and show it. My mother taught the small word called 'Thank you'. Use it and you will amass more people willing to help.
12. Don’t complain. Just work harder. Randy Pausch talks of the story of Jackie Robinson, first black man in the NFL. It was in his contract not to complain, even when the fans spit on him. That is enough to remind to just work harder.
13. Be prepared because luck is truly where preparation meets opportunity.
This is based on the last lecture given by Randy Pausch given at Carnegie Mellon University on Tuesday, September 18, 2007

To be inspired the Randy Pausch way
Once in a while there comes words or a man who inspires you. A man who reminds you of the good in the world and the good in our own lives. A man who tells you to get with the program and to play the game instead of giving excuses for not playing. A man who says try every day and if you fail stand up and try again and again and again because opportunities can be as many as the ones we create for ourselves.
A man who reminds us that it is okay to be afraid but it is not okay to give up and sometimes the fight is not for us but for the ones after us. That is a man I think Randy Paush probably was; a reminder of the reasons why we should never let go.
The speech by Randy Pausch moved me the first time I heard it on Oprah about two years ago. But, truthfully I kind of forgot about it. Then, the last few days I just started thinking about that speech and I decided to search for it. I found it and I think it is one of the most inspirational speeches I have heard and read. It really speaks to all of us. We all dreamt as children and as we grow we let disillusionment take away those dreams and that when sadness and loneliness creeps into our lives.
This speech made me want to hold on to my dreams. I hope that it makes you feel like you can be anything and do anything; I hope it makes you feel as strong and optimistic as it made me feel.
I am experiencing abit of problems uploading it so i will do a post of it tomorrow.

The Constitution Review Process
The constitution review process hits parliament this week. May it be known that the constitution grants only a 30 day window for the parliament to discuss the proposed draft of the new Constitution. Our dear MPs have spent 20 of those days in waste of money retreats looking for the so-called consensus. I am all for consensus but, our MPs give that word a totally new meaning. The retreats were seen as an opportunity for them to try and rewrite the draft. They wanted to create more power for themselves.
But back to the constitutional review process,
The Parliamentarians argue that the Committee of Experts can not have more powers than the Parliament. They want the power to rewrite the draft constitution.
The Constitution of Kenya review, 2008 Act (CAP 9) which is the guiding law on the review process states that:-
Section 33 (1) If the Parliamentary Select Committee shall, within twenty-one days, resubmit the draft Constitution and report presented to it under section 32(c) to the Committee of Experts with the recommendations agreed upon as a result of its deliberations, and the Committee of Experts shall revise the draft Constitution taking into account the achieved consensus.
(2) The Committee of Experts shall submit the revised draft Constitution and its final report to the Parliamentary Select Committee within twenty one days.
(3) The Parliamentary Select Committee shall, within seven days of receipt of the report and the draft constitution under subsection (2), table the report and draft Constitution before the National Assembly.
(4) The National Assembly shall, within thirty days of the tabling of the draft Constitution under subsection (3), debate it and -
(a) approve the draft Constitution without amendment and submit it to the Attorney-General for publication; or
(b) propose amendments to the draft Constitution and submit the draft constitution and proposed amendments to the Attorney-General, who shall, within seven days submit them to the Committee of Experts for consultation and redrafting.
(5) Where the National Assembly submits the draft Constitution to the Committee of Experts for consultation and redrafting under subsection (4) (b), the Committee of Experts shall, within seven days of receipt of the draft Constitution, consider the proposed amendments and submit the draft Constitution to the National Assembly.
(5A) The National Assembly shall consider the draft Constitution submitted under subsection (5) in accordance with the provisions of section 47A(2)(b) of the Constitution.
(6) If the National Assembly fails to approve the draft constitution in accordance with subsections (4) and (5), a joint meeting between the Parliamentary Select Committee and the Committee of Experts shall be convened by the chairperson of the Committee of Experts to consider the issue or issues and to make recommendations to the National Assembly.
(7) In considering issues not approved by the National Assembly, the meeting convened under sub section (6) shall invite the Reference Group to make recommendations on how the issue or issues may be resolved.
(8) The meeting convened under subsection (7) shall be held in consecutive sessions over a period of not more than seven days and shall be chaired by the chairperson of the Committee of Experts.
(9) Upon decision of the meeting, the Committee of Experts shall, within seven days, revise the draft Constitution and submit a report and the new draft Constitution to the National Assembly.
(10) The National Assembly shall within twenty-one days approve the draft Constitution and submit it to the Attorney-General for publication.
Section 33 of CAP 9 clearly states that, the power given to the Parliament in the review process. The Parliament is supposed to debate the proposal and if a simple majority is in agreement the same can be approved. Further, the act gives the parliament the power to vote on proposed changes of which the same will be forwarded to the Committee of experts who together will consider the proposed changes and may make the changes. What I think really gilds them is, the changes can be rejected and the draft can still make it to the referendum.
On a personal level, I do not think the draft is perfect but I have bigger issues with the proposals being put forward by our dear MPs. I have never understood the relevance of a Majimbo system to a country so divided. What it spells out, for me, is the desire for politicians to keep the country divided enough for all of them to be presidents. They want more power and how else to get that to play one against the other.
Let us hope that whatever the outcome, the Kenyan people are the Victors.

Hard knock - not yet!
So hard!
Life is clearly not the bed of roses, in our childhood stories. It is tough and sometimes patience does not pay (you die trying instead of rich). But, I still do not think that children should be exposed to the harsh reality in their childhood. This is a contradiction, I know.
I am thinking that, the greatest part of life that each one of us had, is the love and protection that we had when we were children. We were in a cocoon shielded from the harsh realities of outside. We dreamt and we lived, truly lived. As a child I wanted to live in the world beyond. I wanted to grow up and see the world, so fascinatingly untouchable. Now, I just want to sleep. That’s, of course, besides the point.
The point is kids should be kids. There is a lot to contend with once they grow up. It is hard in the world as it is currently. You have babies watching TV and understanding the art of making babies but not knowing the consequences thereof. Scary, very scary. But, you try our best to normalize the world for as long as you can.
One day the cocoon will open and the baby will be a full grown butterfly and you will pray for the rest of your life.
You will pray that you taught enough,
That you loved enough,
That you taught right and loved right,
That the world outside will not be so unkind,
That the child will always be strong,
He or she will believe in the goodness in the world.
You will of course remember to pray that your child does not become the hurt, the pain and the regret of someone.
Being a parent is scary and I salute mine. I salute that my mother is sane despite all attempts by us to drive her insane. I am thankful that I have parents who have dedicated their lives to loving me and worrying about me J
In whose eyes I will always be the little girl and young lol

My amateur thoughts on the proposed constitution draft
I have looked at the draft, slight perusal. The first draft was ridiculous, as far as I was concerned. The idea that for us to be considered a democratic state we have to transport wholly a foreign constitution, is crazy. This country is way too small to have two centers of power. A federal system works best when the country is fairly huge. At the same the country so divided along tribal lines as mine is, a federal system will further encourage tribalism. That is the reality, anyone who states otherwise, lies. There was the whole complicated way of choosing the president, an electoral college????! Thank God somebody stopped that nonsense.
The second draft, not too bad. It is a starting point. First, there is focus back to a central power. Any Kenyan voting would like to know that they are voting for the guy who is going to be the president. Nobody wants to be led by a guy you had no say in choosing.
Second, there is a creation of a more powerful parliament which, if it works properly, should provide the needed checks and balances on the presidential power.
Of course, there is the kadhi courts issue. I still do not understand why the religious leaders are incensed. Kadhi’s courts are in the current constitution. The new proposed seeks to maintain that same position. Religious leaders are arguing that to constitutionalize the status of the kadhis court, is to recognize the Muslim religion in the constitution. I think that argument is misinformed and ignorant. The kadhis court only has jurisdiction over civil matters being marital and divorce mostly. The parties must both be Muslim adherents and they must voluntarily submit themselves to the jurisdiction of the court. Anyway, there is an appeal provision to the high court.
I ask again, what is your problem religious leaders?
I am a Christian and I have no issues with that. I think it is petty to threaten mass boycott against the new constitution because of the presence of the kadhi courts. It does not in any way interfere with the secular status of the country.
I would discuss the abortion aspect or contention in the new proposed constitution but I do not have that much time. But, I do think that there should be consideration for doctor approved termination of pregnancy in the case where the mother’s life is in danger. Further, I am leaning towards the consideration of the woman pregnant in a rape situation or incest situation. As I said, not enough time.
I think that if the politicians stopped for just a minute and reminded themselves that, the constitution is not only meant to serve them in the 2012 election but it is meant to serve and protect their descendants in the future.
The debate on the constitution should be entering its 12th day now but, it has not even started. Members of parliament are still running around, campaigning for a consensus retreat. People, get over the fact that you will not camp in Naivasha and go debate, which is your work!
Point to be noted, regardless of whether these guys go to Naivasha and reach a consensus; they will still need to come up with 145 votes to amend anything in the proposed draft. Clearly, they are wasting precious time avoiding the debate..

!hola!
I have no idea if any of whatever i have written, makes sense. I actually like this Espanol phase of mine. Esta muy diversion. I wish i had more time for it though. Between the working and chores, i hardly have time to do my own things.
what i love about learning this language is that, i get the words when they are spoken by a spaniard. I actually get the words, process and understand. That i think is the joy of learning a new thing. To have it work for you.
I might not have time but, i have the internet and stolen time (on net instead of working)
So for now, Hablas esapanol? No Pero esperor que si pronto :)

predictability Personified!
There is ofcourse trouble in romance ville because of one Mario AGUIre. Maura and the sister came up with a plan to create a fake lover for MJ. Ullises, the irritating one, was more than happy to come on board as the caller. Bruno hijacks the plan and starts sending MJ flowers.
Alex is a sweet one but he does have the jealous temper. He practically dragged MJ to their bedroom to explain herself and who is this Aguire. Oh, did i mention that on one of his jealous moments he got so moody he did not touch MJ. Be warned for all of those dreaming of the day you be lucky to be su mujer, do not make him angry the abs don't come out!
Now we know that there is a setup and so does MJ (Did Alex not get the script?). Victoria is still her delusional self. Maura riding on that same ship Victoria is on. Bruno, the devil's child, is making his father proud. Raquel, that drunkard is still sad and is planning on having an affair (should make her alittle more interesting). Paula is about to learn that you do not drive unless the person teaching you is a professional and definitely not friend with Bruno's.
Alex and MJ, we still rooting for you. And Alex we love the rough you :)
Tonight more!

The vamp and the school gal get on the list: Vampire diaries season 1, Episode 10
I find it amazing that years on, I am still in love with TV. I love watching TV. Its just one of those things that sums up entertainment. The best thing about it, the reason why I am still and addict, is the scenes that caress your heart and make you smile with a tear in your eye. Vampire diaries just gave me my laughing tear drop, the scene that makes what to dream and believe. This scene is, coincidentally, a favorite of Paul Wesley, Stefan Salvatore. The fact that it is the first love scene between Stefan and Elena, is accidental or maybe not .
I do not think that there is a description I could do that will do this scene justice. So with shame, I try.
Season One, Episode 10 as so badly narrated by me ...
After the Salvatore brothers rescue caroline, .Elena offers to give Stefan a ride ( he does of course inform her that he can get home, and faster than one can drive a car, I AM A VAMPIRE!).
She parks outside the Salvatore monster of a house and for some reason I spaced out on that scene in the car. When he stepped out of the car I was so sure she is going to drive away. Viewer Ville has some power coz I know this viewer willed her out of the car too. (I am psychic loll)
“if you walk, you do it for you.” Elena screams (shouted is more appropriate but what the hell lets create our own drama baby!), “I know what I want..... I love you Stefan”
I was so with her there, I love you too Stefan...hhhmmmh
The camera goes to the shot of Stefan tortured back, should he or should he not?
Then he turns, looks at her and his resolve drains as he closes his eyes tortured willing himself to walk away but when he opens his eyes she is still there.
I was holding my breath as he rushed into her mouth .ah.. means arms lol
I am still holding my breath when they managed to stumble into the house. When he was kissing her neck I was thinking, please don’t bite her and spoil this for me. . lol
As our temperature rose so did his. Stefan’s face started cracking up and he got scared. He buries his head in her and turns away. He could let her see his ugliness
(Like Paul Wesley can be ugly??/). And I agree, this next part was just to moving. She holds him, tells him, “No, don’t stop ” or was that me...lol. She turns his head to face and he looked so scared. She touched the cracks under his eyes, so softly – petal soft, it made me smile .... In that moment, she accepted him the beautiful and the dark. I understood what made it a favorite scene for all who think it is.
She pulls him upstairs and I am thinking ...damn this stuff is romantic!
You know what I liked about the scene that followed, it was tender. I felt the tenderness, every touch. It was sweet and that vamp moved me.
So the love scene in vampire diaries season 1 episode 10 makes it to my top 100 scenes on tv

Learning Spanish ...
So i did the beginner gender thing today. This was not hard at all because that is how French works as well. Everything is either male or female. The trick is, if it sounds hard or mean or bad it is male. This method of differentiating the gender workd pretty well for me.
SO today i have learnt the following words
el chico - la chica
el perro - la perra
la mesa
el abuelo - la abuela
I also remember that a dress is male but cant remember the spanish word for it. it maybe el verdino but that s just a guess. Okay, looks like i might be one of those slow learners :)
Oh, ONe more word: el hermano - la hermana
can you see how the female words sound sweeter. The female gender will be the words having the LA before them. 'La' is 'The'
Alot of spanish words are just french words every letter pronounced... For example el libro - le livre - book
Alot of words sound almost the same. So maybe i can perfect my french (I speak the worst french in the world- tres tres mauvaise ), see! Two birds with one stone, better french, a bit of Spanish :)
This is now the beginniong of my Telenovelas french influenced Spanish journey.
Parfavor!

Leaving and loosing the man of my dreams is the best solution I have evr come up with...Really!!!!
So, it is either I am bored with the other people in the programme or, I have my eyes on one thing.
The fight scene was nice. Alex and Bruno, Des hermanos locos, got into a fight about MJ. the cause of all fight between these loving brothers. what i found quite funny was the naked bruno (In some nice yellow briefs) and a suited up Alex all over each other. The two of them tumbling down the stairs was quite nicely done. I think this is where poor Bebes Levy injured his finger. Yes, his finger was broken or something of the sort. At least he can show off that he had one more bruise than Bruno. Sounded funnier in my head.
Anyway, this whole discussion about periods is getting irk. And MJ is just plain irritating with this whole Divorce inquiries all the time. Woman, you married the hottest man on the planet and he is muy Riche and says he loves. Are you deaf, dumb and stupid. Am asking for real!
'You said you had feelings for me", Alex says. If those eyes were looking at me i would confess that on behalf of all women in the world. Those eyes and the intensity! (I need a fan or air conditioning; maximum cold please!)
Anyway, That was my sortilegio Night, the only comfort i got on a really stressing night.
Thank you Sortilegio

Tears and more tears!
The split screens of two people suffering the same pain was cute. But as i said, the tears were too much.
The ending of the night, was probably the best thing of the night. Alex walking in with the most believable stressed man look on TV. He looked so washed out that he muy caliente, bonito. Maybe am just a sadist. Or i just think Levy est tres chaud, no matter what.
Anyway, that's all for today. Extremely short, i know, but there was nothing much. Just tears and more tears.

Hated the red T-shirt/Shirt but those lips...eish!
So sortilegio last night was quite boring! Or is it just me.
So papa dear got beaten up. He is taken to hospital. Alex finds out that he was beaten up because he owed some bad guys some money. Him being the most amazing man on earth that he is, says he will pay back the bad guys. He had a hideous top thing on and yes those beads were plain weird! But, the face and the walk was still hot. Bad fashion was forgiven. but please go back to those shirts we love..
Oh and just in case you did not know, kisses make everything better. So Alex says. Yes kisses from him would probably avert the 2012 disaster for me. Have i used the word HOT yet. Yes Alex, kisses makes our lives better. I can see that nod from the whole of viewer-ville.
So Alex goes pays off the debt. then he is followed. Here there is an attempt at trying out a James Bond moment. Except, they skipped the whole ,Bauer running up the stairs to explain how he got to the roof, moment. But him jumping off the roof was breathtaking. Okay, so Everything Alex does is breathtaking! He is too hot for it to be otherwise. I did learn one more word in Spanish, Mi Vida which means Darling!
For me the scene of the night came after the rescue. How sweet is it that a guy would want to just cuddle and fall asleep in your arms...Sweet and hot, delicious combination. And for those who had never seen the LIPS. this is your scene to believe.
Yes, there were scenes without Alex but really who cares!
I am not even sure i saw any other person in yesterdays episode.
That is it.
Scorch our screens tonight, Mi vida.
The circus called Politics
Kenyan politicians are dedicated to mediocrity and sometimes plain insanity.
The newest old saga in our drama is the Ruto/Raila Saga. No matter the camp you are in, the view is quite interesting. Ruto pissed off the party and got his himself disliked. 'They are trying to destroy me politically' he says. Now people with woes of your own, why is it that every time a politician is caught in the wrong, read stealing from us, he cries foul, people are trying to finish him and his people!?
your people? What people?
When they were stealing the millions, we did not hear them proclaim to "his people" that I have this much that i want to share with you, my people!
We have someone being asked to step down for being corrupt, running back to a constituency that he has not seen since he was declared the winner. He runs back 'home' and tells his people "they want to finish us"
I mean you have never been in a car or worn a suit and you are chanting after this politician who is suited up with a range rover! You are barefoot and has not eaten three meals in a day ever in your life, and you are chanting! Does anyone else see something wrong with this picture???
We have problems, huge problems, but i can assure you than one of them is not your neighbour! You have no political say (thanks to your absentee thief of an MP) so you can not be attacked politically. The MP you chose is not going to share his millions pay out with you instead he is stealing the little you hope on : maize scandal, education scandal blah blah.... Let him fight his own battle, Let him pay for his crimes!
just because i have to say it, Does anyone find Kutuny ridiculous and dangerous. I have never had anyone spew so much hate in one statement of nonsense as he does. THere is only one Kenya, One people Not Kalenjins and Kenyans, Kutuny please! Leave us in peace!
This guy scares me. Here is a young man who believes in everything that is inherently wrong with this country. He is careless with his words and quite the word sputter. He kind of just throws up the words and each is an utterance that is potentially inciting. Is this the crop of future leaders for this country? If it is, we are doomed!
We need to step back and analyze the scene right now before we wake up one day and we are looking at the other end of an AK47!
Right now, the Ruto/Raila War is our the politics that encompasses every move made. And like all Kenyans am tired of all these crap!
Our politicians Can Not be sensible, we have to be instead!
crap!
I had applause for Levy's acting in the love scene. I love this guy, No doubt but..... Kind of looked puppety to me. I think that everything was not connecting and in the end it ended up being a bit forced. I mean him on the floor, hand on his head touching her headand then heart is picture perfect but .... maybe it is just me!
Yesterday, Maria Jose wakes up and the flood gates open. seriously dint get why especially since she was totally okay when she went to lunch. And i think they were just confusing us a bit here. She was a little too hysterical bana! But, how sweet was he? Flowers and the little 'I love you' at the end of that note. Again, everybody was ignoring the hysterics of the morning. Script gone a little awry there. And the sheet was totally owesome, all the prove i needed!
Fernando and Victoria i just do not get. No sparks for me but, four months to go.
Paula and Raquel are fun and they act really well. But then, so does Bruno. hhhmmmmhhh..
I think the rest of the crew in Sortilegio are just hanging out. I just don't get what they are about. maybe it is because I am always holding my breath, waiting to see Alex, that i just don't pay attention to them.
So last night was that. lets see what tonight will hold.
A few more hours and I get to see you again Mi Amor :)

Novelos
so the latest love of my life, William Levy Gutierrez (pictured below) has to be the sexiest and most beautiful man I have seen, yet!
I mean seriously, does he really look like this??
Sortilegio has just hit our Kenyan televisions, explains how I have just discovered him now! We insist that we are really not that crazy about Spanish soaps though, we obsessively watch them! As I said, we are not that crazy about them, kinda! But, last week on sortilegio Alejandro came back home to a wife he could not remember 'marrying' and then he asked her to take off his shirt (poor guy's hand was in a sling, my eyes are rolling).
Am sitting there thinking, this crap is so predictable! come on, twist that plot for us or at least bend it abit. Maria Jose takes off this guy's shirt and I rolled off the sofa, literally! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT!
This guy is sculpted to perfection, I mean, no gym alone can do that! No way! SERIOUSLY, LOOK AT HIM!!!
I had never really looked at this guy's face (A LITTLE UNBELIEVABLE!) but I did then! I had to look at that face properly and haiyaa! (that can only be said in swahili).
The guy is beautiful! Its almost unreal. He knocked Wentworth Miller (scofield, prison break season one when his shirt used to come off :)) right out of the numero uno spot. Even though i feel that he knocked out everyone from every spot, I could not remember what comes after Number One?!
I totally believe in fairy tales now. The description of prince charming, fits! I think he is definitely capable of kissing sleeping beauty out of sleep, probably back to a coma again in shock of her luck!
My friend told me she would not mind paying for some of Mr. Levy. Me too!!! This guy could totally change my opposition to one night stands, friends with benefits, prostitution, philandering,......etc etc... hhhmmmhhh, a girl can only dream!
THe one question i have for Senor Levy and anyone who can help out there is," Are or Are you not married?"
"Is he or is he not?
"do you or do you not have him, Elizabeth Gutierrez?"
There should be a law, universal one, banning the private possession of this man! He is like an endangered specie, we should share! Am laughing at myself right now, dreams and dreams.
Well, Levy Gutierrez Tu eres mi amor and please do not stop smiling or taking off your shirt :)

Running through my head!
Sitting in the house jobless and angry which kind of naturally comes with self-pity, I have realized that having nothing to do does not make me creative or inspired but I have become lazier (yes it is possible to be lazier than I was then, for those who know me) and chubbier (this word sounds nicer than fatter). I think my friend put it best when she said and I have to quote for impact, "you have boombad! I had a baby, what is your excuse?"
I do have my excuses and I guarantee they are not good at all but I cling to them anyway!
I had this idea when I was in high school (about hundreds of years ago hhhhmmmm....!) that I would have a best seller. How hard can writing be?! actually as it turns out, it is very hard! So years later; no best seller. It is about time I give my dreams some relief and write something. I have also decided to give myself about five years to come up with the final product. Yes, I said five years! Do not make sense of it; Nod your head and get over it!
Actually in my younger days I had quite the fountain of ideas. The ideas have not exactly gone according to plan but you know what, I am tired of being down. Made a resolution this year, am taking my life back. I am finding my Cozumel!
This particular post is like the recycle bin, I am just dropping everything in; It runs through my head, it stops on this post! I have one of those days when I am bursting with talk! okay, i am always on the talk but lets give me a break here and let it slide!
I have to stop with the bubbling....hhhhmmmmmhhh.....
To be continued.............
