So sortilegio last night was quite boring! Or is it just me.
So papa dear got beaten up. He is taken to hospital. Alex finds out that he was beaten up because he owed some bad guys some money. Him being the most amazing man on earth that he is, says he will pay back the bad guys. He had a hideous top thing on and yes those beads were plain weird! But, the face and the walk was still hot. Bad fashion was forgiven. but please go back to those shirts we love..
Oh and just in case you did not know, kisses make everything better. So Alex says. Yes kisses from him would probably avert the 2012 disaster for me. Have i used the word HOT yet. Yes Alex, kisses makes our lives better. I can see that nod from the whole of viewer-ville.
So Alex goes pays off the debt. then he is followed. Here there is an attempt at trying out a James Bond moment. Except, they skipped the whole ,Bauer running up the stairs to explain how he got to the roof, moment. But him jumping off the roof was breathtaking. Okay, so Everything Alex does is breathtaking! He is too hot for it to be otherwise. I did learn one more word in Spanish, Mi Vida which means Darling!
For me the scene of the night came after the rescue. How sweet is it that a guy would want to just cuddle and fall asleep in your arms...Sweet and hot, delicious combination. And for those who had never seen the LIPS. this is your scene to believe.
Yes, there were scenes without Alex but really who cares!
I am not even sure i saw any other person in yesterdays episode.

The circus called Politics
I love my soaps and my favorite soap of all time is, 'Kenyan politicians'.
Kenyan politicians are dedicated to mediocrity and sometimes plain insanity.
The newest old saga in our drama is the Ruto/Raila Saga. No matter the camp you are in, the view is quite interesting. Ruto pissed off the party and got his himself disliked. 'They are trying to destroy me politically' he says. Now people with woes of your own, why is it that every time a politician is caught in the wrong, read stealing from us, he cries foul, people are trying to finish him and his people!?
your people? What people?
When they were stealing the millions, we did not hear them proclaim to "his people" that I have this much that i want to share with you, my people!
We have someone being asked to step down for being corrupt, running back to a constituency that he has not seen since he was declared the winner. He runs back 'home' and tells his people "they want to finish us"
I mean you have never been in a car or worn a suit and you are chanting after this politician who is suited up with a range rover!You are barefoot and has not eaten three meals in a day ever in your life, and you are chanting! Does anyone else see something wrong with this picture???
We have problems, huge problems, but i can assure you than one of them is not your neighbour! You have no political say (thanks to your absentee thief of an MP) so you can not be attacked politically. The MP you chose is not going to share his millions pay out with you instead he is stealing the little you hope on : maize scandal, education scandal blah blah.... Let him fight his own battle, Let him pay for his crimes!
just because i have to say it, Does anyone find Kutuny ridiculous and dangerous. I have never had anyone spew so much hate in one statement of nonsense as he does. THere is only one Kenya, One people Not Kalenjins and Kenyans, Kutuny please! Leave us in peace!
This guy scares me. Here is a young man who believes in everything that is inherently wrong with this country. He is careless with his words and quite the word sputter. He kind of just throws up the words and each is an utterance that is potentially inciting. Is this the crop of future leaders for this country? If it is, we are doomed!
We need to step back and analyze the scene right now before we wake up one day and we are looking at the other end of an AK47!

So sortilegio on Kenyan Tv tuesday was plain crappy! They cut out the "reader's digest version of a love scene to beat all love scenes" as one blogger put it. I mean i am as prudish as any other african, but come on! You cut out the whole thing! We should have atleast seen Alejandro take off his shirt! So no one needed a cold shower in the kenyan viewerville.
I had applause for Levy's acting in the love scene. I love this guy, No doubt but..... Kind of looked puppety to me. I think that everything was not connecting and in the end it ended up being a bit forced. I mean him on the floor, hand on his head touching her headand then heart is picture perfect but .... maybe it is just me!
Yesterday, Maria Jose wakes up and the flood gates open. seriously dint get why especially since she was totally okay when she went to lunch.And i think they were just confusing us a bit here. She was a little too hysterical bana! But, how sweet was he? Flowers and the little 'I love you' at the end of that note. Again, everybody was ignoring the hysterics of the morning. Script gone a little awry there. And the sheet was totally owesome, all the prove i needed!
Fernando and Victoria i just do not get. No sparks for me but, four months to go.
Paula and Raquel are fun and they act really well. But then, so does Bruno. hhhmmmmhhh..
I think the rest of the crew in Sortilegio are just hanging out. I just don't get what they are about. maybe it is because I am always holding my breath, waiting to see Alex, that i just don't pay attention to them.
So last night was that. lets see what tonight will hold.

Novelos
so the latest love of my life, William Levy Gutierrez (pictured below) has to be the sexiest and most beautiful man I have seen, yet!
I mean seriously, does he really look like this??
Sortilegio has just hit our Kenyan televisions, explains how I have just discovered him now! We insist that we are really not that crazy about Spanish soaps though, we obsessively watch them! As I said, we are not that crazy about them, kinda! But, last week on sortilegio Alejandro came back home to a wife he could not remember 'marrying' and then he asked her to take off his shirt (poor guy's hand was in a sling, my eyes are rolling).
Am sitting there thinking, this crap is so predictable! come on, twist that plot for us or at least bend it abit. Maria Jose takes off this guy's shirt and I rolled off the sofa, literally! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTT!
This guy is sculpted to perfection, I mean, no gym alone can do that! No way! SERIOUSLY, LOOK AT HIM!!!
I had never really looked at this guy's face (A LITTLE UNBELIEVABLE!) but I did then! I had to look at that face properly and haiyaa! (that can only be said in swahili).
The guy is beautiful! Its almost unreal. He knocked Wentworth Miller (scofield, prison break season one when his shirt used to come off :)) right out of the numero uno spot. Even though i feel that he knocked out everyone from every spot, I could not remember what comes after Number One?!
I totally believe in fairy tales now. The description of prince charming, fits! I think he is definitely capable of kissing sleeping beauty out of sleep, probably back to a coma again in shock of her luck!
My friend told me she would not mind paying for some of Mr. Levy. Me too!!! This guy could totally change my opposition to one night stands, friends with benefits, prostitution, philandering,......etc etc... hhhmmmhhh, a girl can only dream!
THe one question i have for Senor Levy and anyone who can help out there is," Are or Are you not married?"
"Is he or is he not?
"do you or do you not have him, Elizabeth Gutierrez?"
There should be a law, universal one, banning the private possession of this man! He is like an endangered specie, we should share! Am laughing at myself right now, dreams and dreams.

Running through my head!
So am sad today :( John Terry looses the England Captain band! I think cheaters should absolutely suffer but, why do we have to destroy the sport because this guy could not keep it in his pants?(he does not need it to play!?) But, not what is running through my head.
Sitting in the house jobless and angry which kind of naturally comes with self-pity, I have realized that having nothing to do does not make me creative or inspired but I have become lazier (yes it is possible to be lazier than I was then, for those who know me) and chubbier (this word sounds nicer than fatter). I think my friend put it best when she said and I have to quote for impact, "you have boombad! I had a baby, what is your excuse?"
I do have my excuses and I guarantee they are not good at all but I cling to them anyway!
I had this idea when I was in high school (about hundreds of years ago hhhhmmmm....!) that I would have a best seller. How hard can writing be?! actually as it turns out, it is very hard! So years later; no best seller. It is about time I give my dreams some relief and write something. I have also decided to give myself about five years to come up with the final product. Yes, I said five years! Do not make sense of it; Nod your head and get over it!
Actually in my younger days I had quite the fountain of ideas. The ideas have not exactly gone according to plan but you know what, I am tired of being down. Made a resolution this year, am taking my life back. I am finding my Cozumel!
This particular post is like the recycle bin, I am just dropping everything in; It runs through my head, it stops on this post! I have one of those days when I am bursting with talk! okay, i am always on the talk but lets give me a break here and let it slide!
I have to stop with the bubbling....hhhhmmmmmhhh.....
